Over stairs, the door stopper helps prevent the door from swinging outward. This gate is easy to install using the included Precision Fit template, which helps ensure a successful installation with no measuring or unnecessary drill holes. Recommended tools for hardware installation (not included): drill, Phillips-head screwdriver, pencil. For a seamless installation, ensure that stairway handrails do not encroach on the site where you plan to mount the gate.
